College loaded High Schooler

Ok, I am a freshman, taking sophomore classes at a parent partnership program.  At this program I can take classes that count toward high school credits. Most of the time students only stay until the end of their sophomore year then when they become a junior move onto running start, where they can start earning college credits. I am taking 7 classes at the moment, each worth a credit. With 4 credits already under my belt from last year I will be one credit away from becoming a junior this coming year (my mom planed it that way, she wants to keep me out of college for a bit longer).
Anyways with this unique education my teachers like to challenge us getting us ready for the college life. My teacher will always tell us how she is teaching us like a college teacher and giving us as much homework as college student would get, only with a high school level. I always believed she was just saying that to encourage us. Until recently.
My best friend and I were talking today about the amount of homework I have, seeing as I rarely get to enjoy going out with friends and every time she calls I am often head high in homework. For fun we decided to look at the amount of homework I do on a regular basis. Not only did I equal her amount, but I doubled! Because most college students usually take 3 core classes and I am taking 7 and have the same amount of homework for each class I double the amount of homework as a usual college student will do.
After a fairly long conversation I decided to go to my mom about the subject, to get her opinion for one, and to be truthful maybe a little more slack when it comes to me being in my room a lot. when i finished what I had to say mom turned to me and word for word said: "Well I guess college will be a breeze!"
Still on the phone with my best friend I bursted out laughing! "Well so much for slack!"
